Sweet like chocolate – Millie Mackintosh’s confectionery family home goes on the market

A delicious 7 bedroom Georgian property has been put on the market that used to belong to the Mackintosh confectionery family.

Take a tour now!

The current heir to the confectionery company Mackintosh’s, mostly commonly known for Quality Street, is none other than former Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh. The Mackintosh business is also famous for bringing chocolate to the masses by importing cocoa beans at a lower cost and for inventing toffee (Mackintosh’s we salute you!).

The Manor House in Blofield is on the market for £1 million and comes complete with a host of sweet treats including an indoor pool and a zip wire! However, perhaps the most appetising feature of this historical house is the cocoa wheel found in the back garden that was used in the first Mackintosh factory to crush cocoa beans; it’s been said that the confectionery family used to make toffee and chocolate in their kitchen to test out on local children.

The delectable Norwich home boasts numerous outbuildings, 3 acres of land, enormous bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms, one of which features beautiful views of the garden  AND a secret passage to the pool and sauna area – scrumptious!

Dating back to 1784, the property is now being sold by the first non-Mackintosh so if you have a sweet tooth check out the property now!
