A pink beach hut at the top of some stairs

Five summer beach huts for sale

Rows of brightly-painted beach huts line seafronts across Great Britain, offering holidaymakers their own lock-up-and-leave space by the sea.

These colourful timber structures have become sought-after over the years, with the average asking price now reaching £50,844, which is £500 more than a year ago.

Our property expert Tim Bannister says: “Many dream of owning their own space by sea, and on sunny days it’s difficult to imagine a better place to be than right on the beach front.”

From Walton-on-the-Naze in Essex, to Lancing in West Sussex, take a look at just some of the postcard-worthy beach huts for sale right now.
