Does your home have the X Factor? This one does…

Things are heating up in the world of talent shows. The brand new singing contest, ‘The Voice’, kicks off this weekend and is tipped to be a serious rival to X Factor (don’t tell Simon!).

At Rightmove we’re big fans of anything ‘reality TV’ so we thought we’d share this little nugget with you… The X Factor house. Yes, that’s right ladies… the house where Frankie Cocozza once laid his head, is up for sale on Rightmove.

Take a look around!

Each year the X Factor houses are grander than the year before and this modern property is no exception. Connaught House is on the market for £5,500,000 and is located in the picturesque Hertford Heath. The plush pad was once home to all of 2011’s 27 X factor contestants and with only 5 bedrooms, one can only imagine what went on when the cameras stopped filming!

While the contestants are likely to have spent most of their days rehearsing, the cinema, hot tub, gym, swimming pool and games room inside the house would certainly have kept them busy in their down time.

The former X Factor home was reportedly rented out for £4,000 per week over the 4 months of the series and was likely to have been picked for its secluded, private setting; however that didn’t stop hoards of teenage fans flocking to the electric gates to get a glimpse of the contestants. The property is set in a generous 24 acres boasting 4 acres of garden and two lakes.

If you’re looking for a sizable property, to house your own reality show perhaps (?), then check out some of these ‘spacious’ abodes currently available on Rightmove:

5 bedrooms – Devon

6 bedrooms – King’s Lynn

8 bedrooms – Prestbury

6 bedrooms – Wiltshire
