One Direction look to buy Ashley Cole’s flash penthouse!

They’re heartthrobs for teenage girls (and some older too) around the country, and now it seems the One Direction boys are looking to buy a property that reflects their celebrity status.

Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson allegedly have their eyes set on a luxury flat in North London once lived in by Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole. The pair currently rent the pad for a rumoured £3,000 a week but it’s been reported that they are hoping to buy the apartment for £3million.

The Friern Barnet penthouse is part of Princess Manor Park which has been a hit with celebrities over the years… Girls Aloud once called the development home and the rest of 1D currently live in the block – we’ve heard rumours that the boyband held a “crazy” house party on NYE in the property (oh to be a fly on the wall!).
