Rightmove on TV!

Finally, you can search and share the properties you love on the big screen!

If you’re lucky enough to have a Samsung Smart TV taking pride of place in your living room (maybe Santa shoe-horned the glorious D8000 Smart TV down the chimney at Christmas), you can now search Rightmove on the biggest and best screen in the house! We’ve partnered with the electronics giant to release the UK’s first property search app for Smart TVs, allowing users to search over a million UK properties for sale or to rent via your set.

Not only are you able to see properties from the comfort of your sofa in full HD glory, you can sync your favourite properties with your iPhone, mobile app or desktop via your myrightmove account, meaning the whole family can keep up-to-date with the home-hunting experience together.

The TV app is an ideal addition to our range of home-hunting platforms and as the UK’s number one TV brand Samsung were the ideal partner for us when developing this new property search tool. We believe that in this exciting era of technology, home-hunters want to carry out their property search on the electronic devices that are most convenient and effective for them; we are confident that the app will prove to be a highly effective and entertaining addition to the home-hunting process alongside our mobile, iPad and web-based platforms.

Other apps available to download on Samsung Smart TVs include Teletext Holidays, BBC iPlayer, LOVEFiLM, YouTube and many more.  ‘Samsung Apps’ is the first and biggest App store available for TVs, with over five million Apps already downloaded worldwide, proof that consumers are rapidly embracing the Smart TV format.
