We found this architectural gem near Stainforth, a small, charming village within the Yorkshire Dales. It was built in the 1800s and has just recently been carefully refurbished by the present owners. The results are incredible.

We love how the garden is fairly wild and natural and not overly done up. It’s obviously carefully planned though – the wavering grasses, swathes of wild meadow planting and natural ponds are gorgeous and create a safe haven for wildlife.

Norfolk

There’s loads to love about this large period home in the village of Rollesby, Great Yarmouth.

The interior is stylish, and it ticks just about every box when it comes to what a fabulous property should be like.

For us though, we’re totally smitten by what’s outside. There’s more than an acre of a combination of wild woodland and landscaped gardens and trees, a swimming pool, and a large open pergola with a hot tub and loads of seating area – perfect for entertaining friends and family on a sunny day!

When you walk through the set of timber gates and tall brick walls, you immediately step into this spectacular garden, and it must be astonishing to be there.

You’d also get private water access via a decked jetty to the famous Rollesby Broad, so sailing enthusiasts will consider this a major selling point.
