With an average temperature of 17°C during winter, the Island of Mallorca is an attractive option for those looking for winter sun in Europe.

This £13-million mansion on the southwestern side of the island is a striking modern design, reminiscent of a home you’d expect to see on a Californian hill, or featured on an episode of Selling Sunsets.

We love the infinity pool, and can imagine ourselves sitting in it, with a cocktail in hand, watching the sun set into the sea.

Corfu

This property in the Island of Corfu is in a secluded spot on a hill with private access to a beach. If you’ve been to the Ionian Sea before, you know how gorgeous the area is. The views are breath-taking, and the water is crystal-clear, making it perfect for swimming and snorkelling.

The villa, named Anassa, is stunning. It’s been built with local stone, maintaining the character of the area, and that rugged, Greek traditional style.

Hopefully you’ll find that 12 bedrooms are enough for you. And the large, fully-equipped gym, steam room, and cinema should also come in handy.

We think the interiors are elegant and rather romantic. The pastel tones make for a luxurious yet relaxed ambience.

And the views…they are astonishing.

Costa Rica
