Five homes that remind us of hit Christmas film, The Holiday

At this time of year, there’s nothing we love more than curling up to watch a classic Christmas film. And one of our favourites is 2006 romcom, The Holiday.

The film has an A-list Hollywood cast, and is set in a dreamy location in the English countryside. But it’s fair to say that the standout star of the show is Rosehill Cottage: the cosy hideaway where Cameron Diaz’s character Amanda spends the festive season after house-swapping with Kate Winslet’s character, Iris.

But, the film’s much-loved cottage was a film set and doesn’t exist in real life, which has always disappointed us a bit. So, we’ve been on the hunt for some beautiful homes for sale right now that share the same cosy, festive charm of The Holiday cottage.
