It’s the Victorian warehouse where dozens of fledgling entrepreneurs pitched for lucrative business deals on Dragons’ Den and now it’s hit the rental market.

The Depository, a 6,000 sq ft former furniture storage facility in Stoke Newington, was the set for the first series of the popular BBC TV show 15 years ago.

Dating from 1890, the iconic building is now on the market for £10,417 pcm and still boasts many of the recognisable period features as seen on the small screen.

The wooden staircase where hopeful business people would nervously ascend before beginning their pitches is still intact, as are the famous timber sash windows on the first floor – in front of which Peter Jones and co would sit.

The Depository has since been used to host a plethora of photo shoots and its combination of vintage industrial style and minimalist, stripped-back décor makes it the perfect location for trendy projects.

To the front of the building there are views across to the green space of Abney Park, and in this half of the roof a large original mezzanine provides additional accommodation and storage of around 850 sq ft with the benefit of Velux type roof lights.

As is the case with the rest of the property, the frontage is in remarkably untouched original condition with visible remnants of the Depository signage, timber sash windows on the first floor and Crittall windows on the second floor.
