The very unique selling points of properties

Recently on Rightmove, the UK’s busiest property site, we’ve had previous owners buried in the back garden of a house, a property with its very own private pub in the garden, a lighthouse and a home with a golf course.

We just can’t get enough of the more unusual properties and photos that we come across on the site, so we thought we would share a few of our latest favourites.

Matthew James, Head of Communications at Rightmove, says:

“The photos on a property advert are absolutely crucial for house hunters when deciding if they want to view a property. Everyone loves seeing the more unusual things in someone’s house when they’re looking online as they add a bit more character to the property. We also hear that lots of people use Rightmove to find interior design ideas and if they’ve ever wondered what a hippo dining table or Christmas pudding lights might look like, now they know. It’s worth thinking these things through though as whilst a bath in the bedroom window might mean a great view from the bath, such a great view from the bed can’t be guaranteed.”
