A new meaning to the ‘local pub’

When looking for a new home, local entertainment is usually an important factor.

A traditional semi-detached home in Birmingham really ticks that box nicely…. The four bedroom family home comes complete with its very own pub!

Pop in here.

Set in the grounds of the garden, The Watersedge Inn is a free-standing public (or private in this case) house boasting a stocked bar, tables, chairs, stools and pub door reclaimed from the Stratford upon Avon library. A pool table and dart board can also currently be found in the pub but it’s not clear whether these are to be included in the sale.

Matthew James, Head of Communications at Rightmove, says:

“The current owner of this property has no doubt had lots of fun telling people that they’re just popping down the local and retreating into their own back garden.  Where others have modern bar areas in their kitchens and living rooms, the owner has made use of the outdoor space to create an old-fashioned watering hole complete with pool table and dartboard. It’s certainly a talking point which may serve as a unique selling point to a prospective buyer.”
