Ahoy! Lighthouse up for sale!

Dreaming of panoramic views and seaside living? Well it doesn’t get much better than this… A 36ft lighthouse along with three properties has been put on the market for £1.5million. Check it out here!

Point Lynas, near Amlwch, is on the northern coast of the Isle of Anglesey and has become a landmark in its own right due to its picturesque views of the Irish Sea and castle-like appearance. The lighthouse is surrounded by 17 acres of headland and has been guiding ships out of danger for 175 years.

The current owners bought the grade two listed property back in 2000 for around £200,000 and have spent the last ten years renovating it to its current glory.

While the lighthouse is currently let and occupied by a navigation authority, which remotely control the beaming light, the three surrounding properties are all up for sale. Set within a castle-style walled courtyard, the lot includes two holiday cottages and one family home.

The holiday homes can sleep up to twelve people and produce a good income. So while you sit back and gaze at the frolicking dolphins over the rugged cliffs, you’ll also be making some hard cash!

If the idea of a lighthouse leaves you in the dark, then perhaps a coastal property without the flashing lights could float your boat. Check some other options out here!
