House Prices in South Yorkshire

Most of the sales in South Yorkshire over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £202,600. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £164,228 and detached properties averaged at £342,288.

South Yorkshire, with an overall average price of £219,549, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby East Riding Of Yorkshire (£213,839), but was cheaper than West Yorkshire (£239,730) and North Yorkshire (£289,385). The most expensive area within South Yorkshire was Cawthorne (£661,400) and the cheapest was Goldthorpe (£123,799).

In the past year house prices in South Yorkshire were similar to the year before and 4% up on 2022 when they averaged at £211,512.
