West Midlands, with an overall average price of £280,061 was more expensive than nearby East Midlands (£264,952) and North West (£242,953), but was cheaper than South West (£365,705). The priciest area within West Midlands was Warwickshire (£350,139) and the least expensive was Staffordshire (£241,066).
During the last year, sold prices in West Midlands were similar to the previous year and 4% up on 2021 when the average house price was £269,731.
