House Prices in South Yorkshire

Most of the sales in South Yorkshire over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £197,786. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £160,046 and detached properties averaged at £350,437.

South Yorkshire, with an overall average price of £214,240, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby East Riding Of Yorkshire (£209,082), but was cheaper than West Yorkshire (£232,538) and North Yorkshire (£290,634). The most expensive area within South Yorkshire was Bradfield (£900,000) and the cheapest was Edlington (£109,526).

In the past year house prices in South Yorkshire were similar to the year before and 7% up on 2021 when they averaged at £200,055.
