North Yorkshire, with an overall average price of £289,385 was more expensive than nearby West Yorkshire (£239,730), East Riding Of Yorkshire (£213,839) and South Yorkshire (£219,549). The priciest area within North Yorkshire was Sandsend (£840,000) and the least expensive was Knottingley (£157,005).
During the last year, sold prices in North Yorkshire were 3% down on the previous year and similar to 2022 when the average house price was £292,887.
