Most of the sales in North Wales over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £321,909. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £201,899 and terraced properties averaged at £158,214.
North Wales, with an overall average price of £228,440, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby West Wales (£234,346) and South Wales (£232,829), but was cheaper than Mid Wales (£280,276). The most expensive area within North Wales was Isle Of Anglesey (£276,226) and the cheapest was Denbighshire (£205,735).
In the past year house prices in North Wales were similar to the year before and 3% up on 2021 when they averaged at £221,837.
