Moray, with an overall average price of £213,598, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Orkney (£211,709), but was more expensive than Western Isles (£158,447) and cheaper than Highland (£234,207). The priciest area within Moray was Findhorn (£427,115) and the least expensive was Rothes (£129,636).
During the last year, sold prices in Moray were similar to the previous year and 62% down on 2008 when the average house price was £556,980.
