London, with an overall average price of £691,565 was more expensive than nearby South East (£466,733), East of England (£393,813) and East Midlands (£262,673). The priciest area within London was Central London (£1,579,414) and the least expensive was East London (£520,140).
During the last year, sold prices in London were 5% down on the previous year and 3% up on 2021 when the average house price was £671,879.
