London, with an overall average price of £685,584 was more expensive than nearby South East (£471,096), East of England (£403,699) and East Midlands (£268,549). The priciest area within London was Central London (£1,413,981) and the least expensive was East London (£526,168).
During the last year, sold prices in London were 6% down on the previous year and 5% down on 2022 when the average house price was £722,987.
