Most of the sales in Cornwall over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £493,705. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £265,016 and semi-detached properties averaged at £294,506.
Cornwall, with an overall average price of £348,896, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Somerset (£363,925), but was more expensive than Devon (£326,282) and cheaper than Dorset (£397,799). The most expensive area within Cornwall was St. Mawes (£1,165,500) and the cheapest was Camborne (£218,563).
In the past year house prices in Cornwall were 4% down on the year before and 5% up on 2021 when they averaged at £332,352.
