Dowen Estate Agents was founded in 1982, by Denis Dowen

In 2020 the company was acquired by long term employee's John Nicholson and Trudie Bowes.

Over the years the firm has continued to evolve and now has 8 branches along with bespoke Auction Stores, offering coverage of mid North East England from the coast to the A1 corridor.

Dowen is a full service estate agency, offering a wide range of property related services.

The residential sales department has sold, tens of thousands of properties over the years, in all price ranges.

Dowen was a founding member of The Great North Property Auction, which has now exceeded thousands of sales, since inception in 2012.

Established in 2015, the Directors of Galaxy of Homes set up the company having researched the field extensively. As an investment agency they have begun to regenerate the area of Grimsby, Cleethorpes and Hull, having invested £9.04m into the Grimsby and Cleethorpes area alone.

As the company continued to grow, Galaxy Letts was established in 2018, based in Grimsby. After Galaxy of Homes invest in properties in the area and refurbish them to a high standard with the help of our fantastic maintenance teams, that's when we take over - letting the properties out and assisting landlords and tenants as a property management company.

Hunters started in 1992, founded on the firm principles of excellent customer service, pro-activity and achieving the best possible results for our customers.
