      Our approach to selling property has been refined over many years. It provides an effective and stress-free process that will deliver the best possible sale for your property.

    • STAGE 1 APPRAISAL

      If you are thinking of selling your property, we'll be very happy to visit and give you a report on market conditions, as well as an initial no-obligation appraisal of your home.

    • STAGE 2 HOME REPORT
      You have to provide a Home Report to show anyone who is genuinely interested in buying your property: this is a legal requirement. A Home Report has three compulsory features: A Single Survey and Valuation, an Energy Report and a Property Questionnaire. We can advise you on the best platforms or firms to use to create your Home Report. Alternatively, we can arrange for a Home Report to be carried out and produced on your behalf.
    • STAGE 3 PREPARATION
      We will give you honest, well-informed advice on the best way to sell your property, and we will create a bespoke marketing strategy for you. We'll then prepare the material that will be used to market your property. This step involves the commissioning of high-quality photography of your home and the production of floor plans. You'll be able to choose from a number of proven brochure styles. There is also the opportunity to have a video of your property made. Your property will be placed on our website, which attracts an average of 166,000 visits a month and is linked to key property portals such as Rightmove, OnTheMarket.com and TheLondonOffice.co.uk.
    • STAGE 4 LAUNCH
      When your property is launched to market, a For Sale board will go up and viewings will start. If you are unable to attend, a member of staff will conduct viewings on your behalf. Our database contains the details of over 8,000 active buyers. We will directly contact all relevant buyers with details of your property. We can send out information through our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts. We can also advertise your property at competitive rates in national newspapers and magazines
    • STAGE 5 REPORTING & COMMUNICATION
      We will keep in touch at every stage of the selling process. You will receive regular reports from your selling agent. These will include feedback from viewings and details of the follow-up contacts we make with potential buyers.
    • STAGE 6 NEGOTIATIONS
      Our experienced team will conduct negotiations on your behalf. We will use our expertise to meet your objectives for the sale and will liaise closely with you to agree a strategy to get you the very best deal. We will keep you informed and up-to-date with every new development during the negotiation process. You'll be able to call your selling agent at any time to discuss how things are going.
    • STAGE 7 CONVEYANCING, EXCHANGE & COMPLETION

    Zoe initially joined Rettie & Co. in 2017, having gained experience in Scottish and English property sales. Zoe took the opportunity to expand her property knowledge and experience, working for the past 12 months with a well known new build developer, before rejoining as Senior Sales Negotiator to our newly opened Kirkintilloch office. Zoe graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone with a degree in Interior & Environmental Design. She also has a background in Theatre. Zoe has great attention to detail and a real enthusiasm for property.

    Samantha joined Rettie in June 2014, having sold properties in Bearsden and the surrounding area for more than eighteen years. A graduate of Glasgow University, Samantha began her Estate Agency career with a large corporate agency based in their Bearsden branch, before moving to an independent agent in 2005, still working within the area.
