    Parker Hall is an independent estate agent with a difference. Since we opened in 2010, we're proud to have developed a strong reputation for offering our clients an exceptional level of personal service.

    Everything about us is positively different, starting with our office... a purpose-built 57 foot narrow boat at the popular Barton Marina, making us the only floating estate agency in this area, and possibly in the UK!

    Our unique office offers a welcoming environment for customers to come and have a chat with us over a cup of tea or coffee about their home requirements. So, if you're thinking of moving home in the near future, pop in and see us sometime soon.

    We're committed to offering all our customers a truly personal service and strive to ensure our clients receive all the support they need during one of life's most stressful events... Making the decision to and going through the process of moving home.

    Our six dedicated staff plus the director and founder of Parker Hall, Rosemarie Jones, work seamlessly across all aspects of the buying and selling process, staffing our busy office seven days a week to make sure we're around to arrange viewings, negotiate offers or answer questions when needed. We like to build good, strong relationships with our clients, so will always try to do accompanied viewings in order to give us some quality time with them, to help us understand more about their needs.

    Nothing is too much trouble at Parker Hall. In fact, we often find ourselves helping clients with many other aspects of moving home, such as being asked for recommendations about trusted professionals and good quality tradespeople... most of which one or two of us have used ourselves in the past!

The First Stages for Purchasers

    Obtain Quotes & Instruct a Solicitor

    Your chosen solicitor will need to know information such as your full name/s, current address, address of the property you are purchasing and the agreed offer figure. This information also needs to be passed to Parker Hall.

    Requesting Draft Contracts

    Your appointed solicitor will now write to the sellers solicitor to confirm they will be acting for you and to request a copy of the Draft Contract as well as any further details such as the property's title and the standard forms.

    Money Laundering & Client Care Information

    You will receive official forms which are required to be kept on file by your solicitor. These will include a Money Laundering Form confirming where funds will be obtained from, Client Care Information Pack for you to keep as part of your records and a request for Photographic Identification. The required information and forms should be returned as soon as possible to ensure the initial process starts efficiently.

    Rosemarie Jones - Senior Valuer
    With over 30 years experience in the residential sales, new homes and legal progression Rosemarie Jones offers a wealth of knowledge on the property market in the Staffordshire and Derbyshire areas having covered these for most her career. As the senior valuer, Rosemarie attends most of our market appraisals resulting in lasting relationships with vendors that see them return years later when the time is right for them to move again.

    Rosemarie's dream (after having an Estate Agency on a barge of course) was always to own a property by the sea, so in recent years took the plunge to purchase near Abersoch, where she spends most weekends. As a farmer's daughter, Rosemarie appreciates the beauty of fresh air and loves nothing more than a walk along the beach or along the coastal path with her husband and dog.

Jill is a highly motivated negotiator with excellent customer service skills and is always sure to inspire confidence and peace of mind in our clients. Being both genuine and approachable, Jill always holds her clients' best interests as a priority.

    In her spare time Jill spends plenty of time with her husband, children and two dogs, whether it be watching her youngest son play football or her oldest daughter in music theatre performances. Jill enjoys travelling both in the UK and abroad and as a former Air Hostess knows nothing beats a quiet afternoon at the beach with a gin and tonic!

    With over 15 years estate agency experience in the local area covering both Derbyshire and Staffordshire, Ros is responsible for both carrying out market appraisals and securing sales for our clients. Her frank and honest approach combined with experience selling at all levels of the market ensures Ros' service to her clients is always efficient as well as personable.

    In her free time, Ros spends plenty of time with friends and family including her three children and ever-growing brood of grandchildren! Ros enjoys walking the Derbyshire hills with an occasional pit stop for a chat and a cheeky drink!

    Jane brings a wealth of experience spanning over a 12 year career in the property industry within the Midlands and Staffordshire. Showcasing an in depth local knowledge and a former branch manager title, Jane holds experience across all sectors of residential sales including negotiating, valuing and sales progression. Jane prides herself on attention to details and is always keen to offer excellent and honest customer service. 

    With a penchant for interior design, Jane also spends her free time gardening and loves nothing more than to curl up and relax with a good book (increasingly the audible variety!) or a movie.

    Samantha Wellings - Marketing & Administration
    Sam's role specialises in the marketing of your property, ensuring attention to detail in our professional brochures, internet listings and marketing materials. With previous experience in estate agency, graphic design and marketing, Sam has spent a total of 7 years with Parker Hall and brings creativity and a fresh approach to the marketing of our properties.

    Sam has a passion for all things artistic and musical, having spent her teenage years performing as a singer/songwriter which is where she met her husband, a fellow musician. Sam also spends her free time reconditioning old and unloved furniture, enjoys travelling as much as possible and spends plenty time with family and friends.
