    Simon Smith - MD
    Simon has been involved in estate agency for over 25 years with extensive experience in the North Devon, London and Surrey property markets and is Director of both John Smale & Co and S J Smith Estate Agents. Simon is also a renowned motivational speaker and sales training consultant.    

    Outside of work Simon can usually be found combing antique fairs and nurturing a dream of appearing on Bargain Hunt!

    Andrew Trump - Senior Sales Negotiator
    Andrew has over 35 years experience in the property industry. Born and bred in North Devon he has an extensive knowledge of the area having sold all types of property throughout the area.

    In his spare time Andrew is a keen skittler playing for the Goodleigh Perishers skittle team.

    Andrew Levick- Consultant 
    Andrew is John Smale & Co's resident expert! Having worked in property for all of his working life he has built up a depth of knowledge across the industry including residential, commercial, land and development. His experience is rooted in North Devon but he has also worked in Exeter and the Home Counties. 

     Andrew presides over our auctions, and is always happy to visit and value property to advise the best method of sale and discuss the auction process. 

     In his free time Andrew is a member of Littleham Howlers all boy band and for further amusement plays golf at Torrington. He is also a proud Papa to four grandchildren.

    Tessa White - Administrator
    Tessa has an important role within the administration side of John Smale & Co Ltd ensuring all administrative duties and responsibilities are in order. She works alongside the sales team, office manager, company director and our "in house" auctioneer ensuring all administration duties are kept up to date along with vendors and buyers alike. Tessa has been with us since March 2022 and brings along with her previous estate agency and administrative experience and good organisation skills. 
     
    In her spare time, enjoys holidays, the gym, running and spin biking and has recently enjoyed learning to surf and is a dedicated nanny to her young grandchildren!

    Tom Roode - Sales Negotiator
    Tom is new member of our team at John Smale & Co working in our sales department as a sales negotiator. He has been with us since May 2023 learning from the team in that time. He has previous experience managing a letting and sourcing agent in Cardiff. Tom has lived and grown-up majority of his life in the North Devon area currently living in the Westward Ho! In his spare time, he has a passion to play and watch football. He regularly goes to watch Exeter City and play in the North Devon football league. He enjoys going on beach walks and runs with his Wife who he recently got married to.

    Nicola Elson - Move Manager
    Nicola has a vital role which involves managing the sale of a client's property from offer being accepted to exchange of contracts and key hand over on completion. This involves speaking to and monitoring all the various sales in a chain, liaising with solicitors and mortgage lenders and providing regular updates to John Smale & Co clients, keeping them up to date with each milestone reached and helping to resolve any difficulties along the way. 
     
    Nicola is originally a Surrey girl and moved to Spain as a child before returning to the UK after completing her education. Nicola has been in customer service-based roles ever since including several years in the estate agency industry before joining John Smale. Nicola enjoys walks with her dogs at weekend, socializing and is a noted connoisseur of fine wines.
