    Our Tenant Fees

    Tenants permitted payments info:

    We will charge a tenant the following:
    1. to secure a property a holding deposit of no more than one weeks' rent;
    2. a security deposit with a maximum of 5 weeks rent, or 6 weeks on a property with rent over £50,000 per year;
    3. the rent;
    * We may charge a tenant the following default fee's/payments:
    4. default fee for late payment of rent (after 14 days);
    5. reasonable charges for lost keys or security fobs;
    6. payments associated with contract variation, at £50 or reasonable costs incurred if higher, when requested by the tenant;
    7. payments associated with early termination of the tenancy, when requested by the tenant; and
    8. payments in respect of bills - utilities, communication services, TV licence, council tax and green deal or other energy efficiency charges.

    ** Tenants T&C's can be supplied on request. Holding deposit is refundable subject to the T&C's

    Company Let Fee's Apply (non housing act tenancy):
    1. Admin fee £300 inclusive of Vat
    2. Tenancy renewal fee £150 inclusive of vat

    Having started my YTS (Youth Training Scheme with Black Horse agencies back in the summer of 1995 at the tender age of 15, I can safely say I was hooked on helping people move before I had even received my GCSE results. Fast forward 27 years in property and I've still never left Duke Street, although I did take a year out to travel round Australia and Southeast Asia when I was younger. Having worked for the same corporate agency and wanting something better for clients we opened up our own agency, HOME in 2006. Away from property and family life, I love to watch Leyton Orient and follow England home and away as I have more chance of playing for the O's than watching them in Europe.

    I have been at HOME for a number of years which has given me the opportunity to be involved in all roles associated with buying and selling property so I am now armed with both knowledge and experience to make the process smoother for all of our clients and navigate them over the inevitable bumps that we encounter along the way. Away from HOME the sky is the limit, quite literally, as this is my favourite place to be whether that is standing on top of a plane, jumping out of a plane or most recently flying the plane! Alternatively I will pull on my walking boots and take to the highest point to take in the views.

    I used to work in London in an International Financial Institution but wanted to leave the big smoke and work closer to home. I am the Viewing Ambassador here at Home and am responsible for showing our clients around properties. This is so rewarding I get to see people when they first fall in love with a house all the way through to the day they come into the office to collect their keys. On a personal note, I love nothing more than spending time with my husband and kids, preferably on a beach somewhere.

    The name's Ellie Condon...(you can imagine the nicknames I have). When I started at HOME, I didn't know I'd be working with such a hardworking, crazy, passionate, loving, and supportive team. Little did they know what they were missing. I can't wait to see where the journey 'HOME' takes me. From leaving school, I had a job in Wickes where I learned some great customer service skills. Then I got offered an apprenticeship with HOME, which was a scary move for me but one I will be grateful for every day. I am currently completing an apprenticeship with HOME but am looking to further my career (watch this space), which the team are helping me to accomplish every step of the way.
