Our story

We're Ryan and Sarah Toms, the husband and wife team behind Arthur Grace Residential, the go-to estate agency in the Chilterns.

We're inspired to make a difference for our clients. And what better reminder of why we're doing this than naming our company after our two young children, Grace and Arthur.

Like so many of our clients, we work hard to juggle work and family life. Achieving balance is one of the reasons we intentionally do things differently, meaning you get the very best version of us, dedicated to achieving the correct result for you.

Over the last 30 years Gibbs Gillespie has grown from a single office in Ruislip to be one of the most successful estate agents in London, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, with a network of 15 offices. Our continued success is down to three things: our customers, our staff and our passion for property.

In 2008, amidst the global financial crisis, Josh Godfrey saw a gap in the market for a fresh and innovative estate agency and subsequently Oakwood Estates was formed - initially working out of his fathers garage in Latchmoor Way, Gerrards Cross.

His brother, Edward Godfrey, joined forces with him in 2010 and over the years the multi-award winning business has grown into a network of 8 High St branches located across Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Middlesex and employing in excess of 45 staff.

Both the brothers, grew up, schooled, and lived in Gerrards Cross so know the area extremely well. They are passionate about providing a 5-star experience and have always taken a hands-on approach being involved with everything from viewings to valuations and, finally, handing you the key to your new home.

Our success over the last decade has been down to the quality of individuals which the company has employed. We encourage everyone to feel a part of the business and take ownership of their sector.
