The Area.....

The chalet is located just on the periphery of Briancon town, just 1km from the Prorel telecabine and 2 1/2 kms from the Chantemerle lifts. It is just 100 m from the bus stop that runs clients up the valley and a further 50 m the main shopping centre that has a supermarket and pharmacy.
The position of the chalet and the fact that it has such a large garage would make this property perfect as a base for road cyclists who come to the area in droves from May through to October. This often over looked client base is as important, if not more lucrative than the already popular ski industry. Serre Chevalier is a ski resort that is on the move. 10 years ago, very few foreign skiers even heard of the area.
Nowadays, it is not only synonymous with cycling but also becoming a reputable ski station in itself. The nearest airport is Turin in Italy at 125 kms ( 1 and 1/2 hours drive ), and Oulx TGV is just 30 kms ( 45 minutes drive )
