Following the river route, there are many places that may interest trekking or cycling enthusiasts.
In addition to unspoilt nature, Narni also offers much historical and cultural content.
Spoleto is less than 1 hour away by car and Assisi is 80 minutes; Perugia with its airport is 90 minutes away by car and Orvieto 1 hour. Via the A1 motorway heading south, Rome can be reached in 90 minutes by car and its airports in less than 2 hours.
