Description

The Federiciano Castle in Roseto Capo Spulico is a beautiful Norman-era manor house overlooking the sea.
It encapsulates all the history and atmosphere of this corner of Calabria, which has always been in symbiosis with the waves.

Its stones tell of centuries past but also of the mystery of the Templars: just pay a little attention to notice the alchemical symbols such as the rose and lilies engraved in its walls.

An outpost of defense and of suggestion, with a trapezoidal plan, a structural form that matches perfectly with that of the Temple of Jerusalem. A mystical connection that fascinates visitors from all over the world.

The Castle of Frederick II of Svevia, was king of Sicily, duke of Swabia, king of the Romans and later emperor of the Holy Roman Empire and king of Jerusalem; the Temple of the Templars.

There are indeed many who visit the center of Roseto Capo Spulico, famous for its beautiful castle, once known as Castrum Petrae Roseti.

The majestic fortress overlooking the sea is one of the most picturesque sights in Ionian Calabria, in the province of Cosenza, in the Alto Ionio Cosentino.

One of the most interesting historical destinations, for its military past but above all for the suggestions and mysteries it holds.

The castle rose on the ashes of an ancient pagan place of worship from the 10th century and was built at the behest of Prince Robert Guiscard between 1058 and 1085 with the name "Castrum Petrae Roseti," or "castle of Roseto."
A place that bewitched Frederick II of Swabia, so much so that it became a sacred place for the emperor and king of Sicily, who left important signs of his alchemical knowledge there, closely connected with the Templar Order.

What is fascinating about this ancient structure characterized by three towers, in addition to its striking location on the sea, is the architectural plan and the numerous allegories engraved on the stones; not only that, the cardinal points around the manor are said to be clear references to the Holy City.

Within its walls were found Onphalas engraved with the signs of the Passion of Christ and the Seal of Solomon. It is also said that during the reign of Frederick II, between 1204 and 1253, the castle guarded the Holy Shroud.
One of the most fascinating associations of this place is undoubtedly the layout of the structure, which perfectly matches that of the Temple of Jerusalem.

Today, the appearance of the fortress is not entirely medieval; over the centuries numerous renovations were made, without ever neglecting the ancient charm.
Roseto Capo Spulico, was the village of roses.

The Frederician castle is the jewel of Roseto Capo Spulico, one of the ancient colonies of Sibari that owes its name to the flourishing production of roses.

The capacity amounts to 500 people, so this location would be perfect for catering, events or receptions.

The property is subject to preemption by the Italian state being a property of historical importance.

There is a possibility of buying the shares of the selling company.
