Maria Alm is a charming, traditional Austrian village lying at the foot of the Hochkönig mountain range. It is a family orientated resort with a laid back, tranquil atmosphere and is full of history. As part of the Hochkönig ski area there is 120km of seamlessly linked pistes to enjoy which join Maria Alm with neighboring resorts of Dienten and Mühlbach.
This ski area is yet to be discovered by the masses and is surrounded by stunning scenery, making it one of Austria’s best kept secrets. In the summer there are 340 km of hiking paths in the area, including the Königsweg and one stage of the Via Alpina, which leads from Trieste to Monaco.
