The town is the site of both the World Bog Snorkelling Championships and the annual Man versus Horse Marathon, as well as other annual events. The market town of Builth Wells, located at the heart of Powys, is just 13 miles away in what is arguably some of the most beautiful countryside in the United Kingdom.
