Families planning a holiday to property in France this winter could find the iconic ski resort of Val d'Isere is able to meet their needs.
Sophie Martin, press officer for the Val d'Isere tourist office, explains that the resort has developed its family offering over the past two years.
"Val d'Isere is known worldwide for its international ski competitions," she says.
"However, it is also very important to us to show that families and beginners can spend great holidays in Val d'Isere too."
She points out too that a stay in property in France's famous ski resort need not be purely about skiing.
There are plenty of other activities to take part in for visitors to the area, including some designed specifically for young people.
Youth literature meetings and the Village des Enfants are accompanied by more mature pursuits including pyrotechnics and firework displays, street shows and torch-lit descents of the slopes.
