The skies above property in France offer a variety of ways to see the country from aboveTaking to the skies could offer a new way to see property in France – from a hang glider, parachute or hot air balloon.

Visitors heading to the country are told by the Midi-Pyrenees Regional Tourism Committee of the options open to them when it comes to soaring high over property in France's largest region.

Motorised flights can include microlight trips and hot air balloon rides, the tourism organisation suggests.

The former can be taken from more than 50 bases across the region, which also offer flying lessons.

For a more serene experience, visitors can go motor-free and defy gravity using only a parachute or hang glider.

Luchon-Superbagneres has become one of the widest known venues from which to set out on a flight lasting for more than 100 km, the tourism body adds.

Meanwhile, a shorter and more adrenaline-fuelled trip can be taken from up to 100 m by bungee jump, or up to 4,000 m by parachute.
