Low-cost airline Jet2.com is dispelling the myth that any extras on its flights to property in France must be paid for separately.
Despite the modular approach to ticket costs used by low-cost airlines in general, people flying to property in France on bookings dated between November 15th and 30th can benefit from a free ski carriage offer.
The bonus applies to all Jet2.com flights to Chambery booked between those dates and departing from either Leeds Bradford or East Midlands Airport.
Free ski or snowboard carriage is also being extended to a number of other Jet2.com routes to European destinations.
Among them are flights to Geneva in Switzerland and to Salzburg in Austria.
The weight allowance for snowboards or skis is 20 kg and travellers are told to book the bag for their equipment and check that the cost is deducted from their ticket price at checkout.
Jet2.com suggests that Chambery can act as a gateway to further popular French resorts including Meribel, Val d'Isere and Tignes.
