Air France flights beyond property in France itself now include six further Russian destinationsAn existing agreement to carry passengers from property in France to Russia has been extended by Air France and Aeroflot.

The two airlines share codes on some flights, meaning they can both sell tickets for journeys operated by either company.

Now the destinations in Russia that can be reached from property in France have increased in number with six new additions to the route plan.

Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Khabarovsk, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg and Nizhnevartovsk can all be reached on AF flight numbers operated from Moscow by Aeroflot.

Air France flights from Paris to Marseille, Lyon, Strasbourg and Toulouse, which carry SU designations, are also being sold by Aeroflot.

Tickets are already on sale under the new agreement, with the first scheduled flights due to depart on October 24th.

Within France, Lille is an important hub for Air France routes, including those to the Mediterranean island of Corsica, one of France's 26 designated regions.
