Property in France could offer job opportunities for graduatesWith the depressed jobs market in the UK seeing some graduates left out of work after leaving university, they may consider heading to property in France.

Teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) is a training course offered by providers like i-to-i, which reports a five per cent rise in graduate enrolments to its programmes.

According to i-to-i, the Higher Education Careers Service Unit saw almost nine per cent of 2009 graduates out of work six months later.

The training provider suggests taking a TEFL course and heading overseas to help people there learn to speak English.

While it lists destinations such as Korea or Thailand, property in France may be a popular alternative for people who don't want to stray too far from home.

Demand for TEFL services is substantial around the globe, says i-to-i, with an estimated one billion people currently learning English as a second or non-native language.
