Eurostar passengers continue to reach property in France without disruptionThe Eurostar rail link is still carrying passengers to property in France, unaffected by recent strike action that has affected other forms of transport.

According to the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO), no disruption has been experienced by the Eurostar service during the days of action.

Travellers heading to property in France are told that further strike action is expected on October 28th and November 6th.

On those dates, road, rail and air links, along with cross-channel ferry services, may all be affected.

However, motorway journeys may still be possible, with only the risk of delays due to rolling road blocks.

Travellers taking their own vehicles to the continent – or driving a private car already waiting there – are advised to check their levels of petrol.

According to the FCO, it is currently a good idea to have a back-up plan in case it proves impossible to refuel during a long journey.
