Holidaymakers considering a trip to property in France's capital city, Paris, have been told that a variety of different budgets can be served by the accommodation available.
Veronique Potelet Anty at the Paris Office du Tourisme et des Congres explains that the image of Paris as purely being a luxury destination is not entirely accurate.
While she admits that the city is a fashion capital rich with palaces and similarly refined sights, she rejects the notion that it must be expensive to visit.
"This image isn't false; it's just incomplete," she says.
"The capital offers a wide range of solutions to stick to a low budget from accommodation to transport or visits."
People who do choose to invest in a luxurious property in France's fashion and culture centre could still find they are able to stick to a budget in other ways.
For example, Ms Anty points out the affordability and ease of use that the metro and bus system offers to visitors to the city.
